Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for time-sensitive local deliveries across Greater Boston
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to ensure on-time deliveries
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with package sorting and warehouse organization as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred but not required
- Proven experience in local delivery or transportation field
- Strong knowledge of Boston streets and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
