Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and documents on scheduled routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic manifests
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and punctuality
- Handle fragile or high-value shipments with specialized protocols
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A/B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metro area and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Background check and drug test clearance required
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
