Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver time-sensitive packages and documents throughout Houston metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness/maintenance of assigned vehicle
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with sorting and organizing packages at the distribution hub when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
