Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages, documents, and medical supplies across Chicago metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and drop-offs
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adapt routes dynamically for traffic/weather conditions
- Handle high-value or temperature-sensitive shipments per protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time delivery optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficiency with mobile delivery apps and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screen required
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and traffic patterns
