Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, documents, and time-sensitive materials across Charlotte metropolitan area
- Maintain precise delivery schedules using GPS navigation and route planning tools
- Verify delivery accuracy through digital scanning and recipient signatures
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile tracking system
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and digital scanning
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Charlotte metro area roadways and traffic patterns
- High school diploma or equivalent required
