Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies across Boston metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and route communications
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time performance
- Handle special handling requirements for temperature-sensitive or high-value items
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs in buildings
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends based on client needs
