Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies across San Antonio metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries, including handling special requests
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrival and fuel efficiency
- Assist with sorting and preparing packages for daily dispatch
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and potential delays
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with commercial or delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and safely maneuver packages
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology systems
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by DOT regulations
- Knowledge of San Antonio metropolitan area and surrounding communities
