Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and supplies to commercial and residential addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class E or CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and route planning
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of NYC streets and boroughs preferred
