Responsibilities
- Transport time-sensitive packages and documents across Austin metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Verify recipient identities and obtain proper signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Adapt routes in real-time using GPS navigation systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Austin street grid preferred
