Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver time-sensitive packages
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Verify recipient signatures and maintain delivery confirmations
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adapt routes for traffic conditions and delivery priorities
- Communicate delivery status to dispatch team in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with Detroit metropolitan area
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
