Responsibilities
- Safely transport high-priority documents and packages using company vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to meet strict time windows
- Handle specialized temperature-controlled shipments for premium clients
- Maintain accurate delivery records via mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Knowledge of NYC boroughs, traffic patterns, and parking regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Commercial driving experience preferred (non-hazardous materials)
