Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver time-sensitive packages and documents across Arlington and surrounding areas
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining fuel efficiency
- Verify package contents, maintain delivery logs, and obtain proper customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route challenges
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols without exception
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications
- Strong knowledge of Arlington roadways and Texas traffic laws
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening as required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
