Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport packages, documents, and goods to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure efficient on-time delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments at client facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Columbus metropolitan area roadways
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
