Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents throughout the Charlotte metropolitan area using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Familiarity with Charlotte metro area and GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
