Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies to designated locations throughout New Orleans Parish and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet strict time windows
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana Commercial Driver's License (Class C or higher) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to navigate New Orleans streets and neighborhoods efficiently
- Strong time management skills and commitment to punctuality
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
