Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van and refrigerated) for local and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while prioritizing safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Complete electronic logging systems (ELD) and required documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Seattle metro routes and Washington state highways
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and safety protocols
- Basic computer skills for ELD systems and communication tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
