Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across the Southeast
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery timelines
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Maintain clean driving record and DOT compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass DOT physical examination
- Familiarity with hazmat materials (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and logbook compliance
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
