Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and real-time traffic data
- Document delivery logs and handle paperwork accurately
- Maintain excellent customer service during stops
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch for schedule adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of hazmat handling (preferred)
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
