Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Optimize route efficiency to meet delivery schedules and fuel targets
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork using digital systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of regional geography and Omaha area
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
