Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across designated routes in Southern California
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using provided equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route status
- Represent Global Logistics Solutions professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of freight handling procedures
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
