Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided box trucks for dedicated local/regional freight routes
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining strict safety standards
- Complete accurate documentation and electronic logging for all shipments
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize route efficiency to maximize delivery windows
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proven box truck operation and freight handling expertise
- Strong knowledge of St. Louis metro area and regional highways
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor troubleshooting
- DOT medical certification and required compliance documents
