Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided box trucks safely and efficiently on regional routes
- Manage pickup/delivery logistics with precise scheduling and documentation
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and daily inspection reports
- Optimize routes for maximum delivery efficiency and fuel savings
- Build client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Fresno/San Joaquin Valley geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- DOT medical certification current and in good standing
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data connectivity
- Basic accounting skills for independent contractor responsibilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
