Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for cross-country freight transport
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS, and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding shipments
- Assist with secure loading/unloading of diverse cargo types
- Represent our company with professionalism during all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's Permit (CDL training provided)
- No prior trucking experience required – we train from scratch!
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening background check
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first mindset
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Basic GPS/map reading and route navigation skills
- Physical capability to handle cargo and sit for extended periods
