Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks transporting goods across Michigan and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Build positive relationships with clients and warehouse personnel
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
- High school diploma or equivalent
