Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout California
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and route planning
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for delivery schedules
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- No prior experience required – training provided
