Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food deliveries across DC metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Represent company brand with professional appearance and service
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time updates
- Ensure compliance with local traffic and delivery regulations
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class C or higher)
- Minimum 1 year delivery or commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of DC metropolitan area geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
