Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Plan routes to optimize delivery timelines and fuel efficiency
- Maintain clean driving record and report any incidents immediately
Qualifications
- No prior trucking experience required
- Valid Class A CDL or willingness to obtain through our paid training
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
