Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods between distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and traffic laws while on duty
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team for route updates and delivery confirmations
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain electronic logging records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance evaluations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning
- Strong time-management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb into/out of truck cabs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to work variable shifts including early mornings and weekends
