Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods between distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Manage delivery schedules and optimize routes for maximum efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding shipment status and delays
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Maintain clean driving record and complete mandatory training modules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
