Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods throughout San Francisco Bay Area
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adapt to changing routes and delivery schedules with real-time GPS guidance
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required
