Job Overview:
As a Truck Driver at Pioneer Logistics, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the West Coast. We are looking for dedicated individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a winning team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to transport goods according to delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery and pickup locations.
- Report mechanical issues and accidents immediately to dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Class A or B) preferred, or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and meeting DOT physical requirements.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and customer service.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
