Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on highways and local roads, including routes to Houston, TX.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment as needed.
- Ensure the security and safety of cargo during transit.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Maintain a clean, professional driving record and adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required (Entry Level candidates encouraged to apply).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred but not mandatory for entry-level training programs).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry cargo weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours including weekends.
