Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks across regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS technology
- Document cargo and delivery logs accurately
- Communicate with dispatch and clients throughout transit
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with FMCSA standards
Qualifications
- No prior experience required (paid training provided)
- Valid state driver's license
- Pass DOT physical and background screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight trips
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to obtain CDL-A license (training included)
