Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within San Jose and surrounding Bay Area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for compliance
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Assist with loading/unloading freight as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain with our sponsorship)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexible schedule availability (including early mornings)
- Valid California driver's license
