Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) within San Diego County and surrounding areas
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic logging
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Represent Pacific Fleet Transport with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with San Diego geography
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work variable shifts including early mornings
