Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Pennsylvania and surrounding states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch team
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments when required
- Document delivery information and handle paperwork accurately
- Represent Metro Freight Solutions professionally with all clients
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Philadelphia area and surrounding regions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and variable schedules
- High school diploma or equivalent required
