Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Navigate optimized routes using GPS systems and road maps
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and mileage calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Willingness to undergo paid company-sponsored training program
- Team player attitude with excellent communication skills
