Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within Oklahoma and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation (bills of lading, logs)
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adapt routes based on weather, traffic, or delivery priorities
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Uphold strict safety standards and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain through our training program)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight trips (2-3 nights/week)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
