Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across North Carolina and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations at distribution centers
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- No prior trucking experience required – training provided!
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass mandatory background checks and drug screenings
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours
