Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across the Midwest
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and traffic updates
- Submit accurate trip documentation and mileage reports
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to complete paid CDL training program
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Physical ability to climb in/out of trucks and lift up to 50 lbs
