Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within Illinois and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adapt to changing schedules and delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- No CDL required – training provided
- Basic math and navigation skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
