Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across the Southeast region
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route updates
- Secure cargo and ensure proper loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- No previous CDL required – we train from scratch
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
- Ability to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Willingness to obtain Hazmat endorsement within 6 months
