Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within Phoenix metro area and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining excellent customer service
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) accurately
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- No prior CDL required - we provide training!
- Basic math skills for weight and distance calculations
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Good communication skills in English
- Physical ability to climb in/out of cab and handle cargo
- Willingness to commit to 4-week training program
