Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling throughout transit
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid California Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- No prior trucking experience required - we train!
