Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the tractor and trailer.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if not currently held.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and background check.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
