Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various routes in and around Columbus, OH.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely to prevent damage and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
