Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within Jacksonville and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain company-sponsored training)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- No previous experience required (training provided)
