Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A & B) safely and efficiently in and around the New Orleans area.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and comply with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
