Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on highways and local routes in the Indianapolis area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and trip logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum of 12 months of driving experience is preferred, but we welcome new graduates with a clean record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic English proficiency for reading road signs and communicating.
