Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations in and around the San Jose area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience (Entry Level positions available for the right candidates with a strong aptitude for driving).
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic English communication skills and a willingness to learn.
